What is your returns policy?

Customer satisfaction is important to us! If you are unhappy with the items you received for any reason, simply return it to us and we will happily provide an exchange, credit or refund under the following conditions:

  • Items must be returned within 14 days of dispatch for Australian and New Zealand customers and 21 days for other countries.
  • Items must be in saleable condition with all tags attached
  • Items must not be worn, damaged, altered or washed
  • Unfortunately, sale items may only be exchanged or returned for a credit

This policy does not affect your legal rights under Australian Consumer Laws.

For all swimwear, customers must try on items wearing undergarments. If returned, the protective hygiene strip must remain in place and will not be accepted if removed or altered, or the item otherwise shows signs of wear. 
Please try on shoes on soft surfaces before they are worn generally. We will not accept shoes returned with sole markings or scratches. The box must be returned with the shoes.

This policy is exclusive to our online store only. Items purchased in-store are only eligible for an exchange or credit note. 

How do I make a return?

1. Contact us to let us know what you would like to return, why, and if you would like an exchange, credit or refund. 

2. Fill out your returns from in your parcel

3. Ensure the garment is in original condition with all tags attached

4. Package up your item securely and send back within 14 days using a traceable service

We recommend that you ship your item(s) back via registered post or another tracable service. Tangerine Beach is not responsible for any items that go missing or are damaged in transit. 

Do you cover the cost of returns?

Customers will have to return item(s) at their own expense. We are pleased to offer free express postage on any orders requiring an exchange. 

Have you received my return?

Please allow up to 3 business days upon us receiving your parcel to process your return. We recommend you send your item back using a traceable service so you know when we’ve received it. Your can always contact us to double check.

Unfortunately Tangerine Beach cannot be held responsible for parcels without tracking that have not been received back.

When should I expect my refund to clear?

Please allow up to 3 business days from the date we receive the package to process your refund. From there, the funds can take between 24-72 hours to clear.

PayPal refunds are instant once processed.

How long do credit notes last?

Credit notes will be valid up to 6 months from the issue date. If you’d like an extension, please contact us.

Can items I buy online be returned in store?

Unfortunately all online orders will need to be returned to the head office. Online orders cannot be returned in-store.

What is your in-store returns policy?

Please choose carefully as we cannot offer a refund for change of mind or if you simply make a wrong choice. We will happily exchange or issue a Credit Note on items returned in original condition, within 14 days and on presentation of your store receipt. Unfortunately, we cannot except returns or exchanges on lay-bys. 

We will refund on manufacturing faults in accordance with the relevant legislation. However, we reserve the right to repair or replace where applicable and goods may require assessment.
